F.A.Q. for Brides and Grooms
These are just a few of the basic questions we get asked regularly, feel free to email us any other questions.
How far in advance should we book?
Most of our clients book six to twelve months in advance to assure our availability for their wedding date.
Do you travel?
We travel throughout the U.S. and overseas for our wedding clients. No destination is too far and we believe that destinations often lend to a more intimate atmosphere because your very dearest family and friends surround you. We do charge an additional destination fee for travel/lodging.
Tip: If you think you might save on expenses by hiring a local at an exquisite destination be sure to remember these are your families memories that will be etched in time forever, you want to make sure you have complete confidence in your decision of the photographer you choose. Make sure you choose a professional!
What do we need to do to book you?
We provide a contract and an invoice. Once we receive your first payment as a retainer and your signed contract your date is put into our calendar. It’s very simple.
When should we schedule our engagement portraits and bridal portraits?
Engagement portraits should be taken around three to six months before your wedding. This is a time that we treasure as we get to develop a closer relationship with you and watch your interactions as a couple. Our sessions also give you a chance to relax in front of our camera and let us lead you in how to pose and be comfortable with each other.
For bridal portraits we are often at the disposal of the boutique you purchased your dress from. We schedule your session as soon as your dress arrives and your alterations have been made. Most often this is two to three months before your wedding date.
