We photographed these two love birds back in October for their engagements. Kimberlyn has the absolute biggest heart for the people around her and a seriously contagious spirit of joy and grace. Ryann is so attentive to her and her needs. They are a perfect match. Their intimate ranch wedding was a beautiful representation of their raw and authentic love for each other. Part of getting older is watching your friends transition into parenthood. These two have gracefully taken on the challenge and it suits them well. They play hard and love deep. They are honest parents and they don’t try and make it seem effortless and easy. They do however show all the beautiful parts of being a family that are woven together through time, patience, love and grace. We love watching them parent this little guy and are so thankful to call them friends.

Hi lovely readers from all over! Wishing you a week of happy memories for Thanksgiving. I have plans of brining a turkey, drinking pumpkin lattes, and indulging in too many sweets. Before I dive into the kitchen and quality time with family I wanted to share a little from the heart!

My husband and I are passionate about serving our community and the less fortunate. We believe one of the world’s biggest problems is poverty and we both have experienced this on the ground in person in third world countries. Last year I had the opportunity to travel to south Sudan, Africa and photograph an amazing trip and experience the joy of the beautiful people in a desolate country. They have so little but so much joy. Isn’t that amazing? We live in a country that abounds in so much but are always seeking happiness. Well, this past October almost a year after my trip my sweet husband had the opportunity to travel to the African country of Ghana. He participated in teaching a group of students how to create business plans who were applying for micro loans through a non-profit organization called Videre. Videre is a small organization who has sought out how to make micro-loans sustainable through education. Business owners and entrepreneurs apply for loans but only after they go through a rigorous process of learning are they then eligible for a loan. My husband Mark delighted in the work and it has left an eager desire to do more work with micro-loans.

We feel so blessed that we are able to take our degrees and our expertise and share them in unconventional ways with the world. You may read this and say “great”, but why are you telling me all this? We wanted to create a way for you to get involved by offering something special to celebrate the Holidays. We are offering family portrait sessions at a discounted rate on November 26th. A time that you can teach your children the joy of giving and learning about the world. The money from these sessions will fund the trip Mark went on and future trips that Videre takes. We are offering ten family portrait sessions at an amazing rate this coming weekend when all of your family is still in town! Our traditional family sessions are priced at 500.00 for 1.5 hours of photography but for November 26 we offering ten 20-25 minute sessions for 125.00! We decided that November 26th would be perfect as it is Small Business Saturday, a day to support and encourage local business. We think it would be neat if local businesses here could also encourage local businesses on the other side of the world through what we are offering!

Ft Worth Portraits Sessions on November 26th
20-25 minutes with a photographer that will make you giggle!
5 digital high res files of your portraits for you to make your own Christmas cards, share with Grandma in a digital frame or to post on facebook, yours to keep, print and delight in!

Kimberlyn has a heart of gold and and happens to be beautiful inside and out! I am honored to share some of her bridal portraits. Just a few short weeks before her wedding we were able to capture these images on a brisk fall afternoon. Bridal portraits are such an integral part of the wedding process for some ladies, it allows them to get their trial hair and make up and the chance to move around in their wedding dress for the first time, not to mention they are so much fun!

Rachel and Kevin had an amazing fall wedding! The details were thought out ever so delicately with great attention by Kerrie of A Stylish Soiree. Rachel was graceful and poised through out the day and Kevin was attentive to his bride, it was simply picturesque. Their family and friends were in awe of their love and it was a beautiful evening for a celebration.

I completely adore this couple! They have huge hearts and a love for each other that runs deep. I am so excited they invited me into this adventure with them. The best part about this job is the people, learning about who they are and the story that brought them together. I get welcomed into their life to photograph the beginning of their journey and it brings me joy to get a glimpse of who they are. Kimberlyn and Ryan invited me on this date with them and it simply felt that natural just like an engagement session should, a date with me following along the journey with my camera!
